Conceiving the artistic creation from a non-human perspective, assuming Anthropocene as the present geological era, these objects are a mixture between sculpture and a “Hotel for Insects”.

The Hotel for Insects is a structure created to protect certain insects such as bees, wasps and ladybugs, during their living cycle. In this instance, the purpose is still the same but now there is an aesthetic component and an organic form, more adapted to its guests. These objects are intended to be both inside human places as an organic parasitic intervention, as well as outside as part of the environment.

Both sculptures have no glaze inside, allowing the inhabitants to create their own humidity. One of them is glazed on the outside in an organic pattern to camouflage itself with the surrounding landscape and to have protection against the weather conditions. On the other side of the room is the second sculpture, which is more fragile without an outer glaze. Nevertheless, it allows parasites to grow over it, as well as moss, lichens and other plants.

The sculptures are the initial result of a project that aims to create collaborations with people from different fields of knowledge, such as biology, design, architecture, etc for the benefit of other life forms.
