Este trabajo es una continuaci\u00f3n de mi proyecto de tesis \"Colorful Places for Transformation\" en el que estudi\u00e9 el primer ciclo de vida de las orugas de la polilla tejedora y la forma en que construyen sus capullos utilizando las fibras de la ropa de la que se alimentan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el borde del pa\u00f1uelo de seda hay un texto que explica la historia de la seda como material que proviene tambi\u00e9n de una polilla, la polilla de la seda (<em>Bombyx mori)<\/em>y c\u00f3mo el ser humano interviene en el ciclo vital de la polilla deteniendo la fase de metamorfosis para cosechar la seda con la que producir tejidos. Cuando esos tejidos humanos se olvidan, es el momento de que las orugas de la polilla tejedora (<em>Tineola bisselliella)<\/em> para cumplir su ciclo vital comiendo el textil y tambi\u00e9n tejiendo sus capullos con las mismas fibras. Dependiendo de los patrones y colores de los textiles, los capullos son siempre diferentes. Para m\u00ed son coloridas esculturas y creaciones est\u00e9ticas. De este modo, la seda pasa por diferentes etapas: comienza en lo no humano, luego se convierte en material humano, despu\u00e9s vuelve a formar parte de lo no humano y, finalmente, como obra de arte impresa sobre esta seda natural, existe la posibilidad de que vuelva a formar parte del territorio no humano si las orugas de la polilla de la telara\u00f1a se comen la obra para continuar con su ciclo vital. La obra de arte, por tanto, es en s\u00ed misma una mirada a un ciclo abierto e infinito entre el mundo humano y el no humano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El programa funciona como un modelo para entender c\u00f3mo la oruga de la polilla tejedora construye su propio capullo en funci\u00f3n de la superficie del tejido y del movimiento de la larva sobre \u00e9l. El observador tendr\u00e1 la oportunidad de interactuar con el modelo y ver la creaci\u00f3n infinita y aleatoria de la naturaleza.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-advancedgallery
